Getting Started
If you use BambooHR to track employee vacations, you can now seamlessly sync this information into Jira.
When an employee requests time off in BambooHR, our app automatically records the request in Jira. This means that your teams can now consider employee time-off when scheduling work in Jira. It also means that your scrum masters, project managers, and wider PMO are better informed and equipped to forecast accurate completion dates based on team capacity.
Our app is compatible with Jira Server and Jira Data Center. It also integrates with some of the most popular resource planning tools in the Atlassian ecosystem, including:
- Tempo Timesheets and Tempo Planner
- BigPicture 7 and 8
- BigPicture Enterprise 7 and 8
Installing
To install BambooHR Integration for Jira, you must be an administrator.
To install:
- Click the Administration menu (
) and choose the 'Manage apps' option
Pro tip: press the '.' key to get the search menu, type 'app', and click 'Find new apps') - Enter the full name of the app in the search bar
- Select 'BambooHR Integration for Jira' and click either 'Free trial' or 'Buy now'
- When requested, enter your information on my.atlassian.com and click 'Generate license'
- Click 'Apply license'
